A classroom rug would be beneficial, because students would be able to work in groups and away from their desks. As a teacher, it is important to me that students have opportunities to study and read away from their individual desks. Students need a place to gather as a group of learners, where they can actively share their ideas, work cooperatively with their peers, and have an opportunity to lead their own instruction. This classroom carpet would be the perfect place for students to do just that.
