My students face many challenges and do not have the same experiences of other more affluent families. Most students are English Language Learners. They are also faced with poverty and the lack of background knowledge. These students are excited about exploring their surroundings. They come to school every day wanting to experience new things. Puzzles and manipulatives are the kind of activities they gravitate toward. We are a Title I school that promotes success for all students.
