I have a class of 24 kindergarten learners who are 5 and 6 years old. We are lucky to be in an environment where projects and real world applicable learning are the norm. Everything that we do has a "why" or "what for" component built right in. Students are taught how to learn and not just the isolated skills involved. Each unit that we complete leaves learners with new skills and the structural opportunity to master old ones.
