I have approximately 24 students in my class from year to year, we are a transient Title 1 District with students who move from other countries or surrounding towns throughout the year. I commonly have students who are new to the English language or have special needs with various accommodations, all of which I have worked to better myself to serve them as an educator. Much of the materials and supplies in my room are items I have purchased personally, my priority has always been to do what is best for the students. Feeling safe and comfortable in their learning environment opens doors... and minds!
