My students come from very poor families. These students receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack every day at school. My students live in Oklahoma and come from families that do not have the access to buying books for a home library. The only access these students have to books is at school. These students love to read and I want to expose them to great American people. Many of these families to do not have access to any sort of technology at home. Research has shown that students who use technology score higher on tests. My goal as a teacher is to provide my students the most opportunities for success. If my students love to learn, they will continue to learn in middle school, high school, and maybe even college.
