My students are spectacular second graders at a small, K-5 public school in California. I have 24 students this year. Most of my students are Hispanic and Filipino. About half of the students are second language. Almost all of the students come from low income families. They are energetic, funny, kind, and love to learn. Their enthusiasm for learning is truly amazing!
