My class truly represents the great American melting pot. They come from all over the world; Burma, Sudan, Liberia, Armenia, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. The majority of the class has learned English as a second language. 97.5% of the student population lives below the poverty line and 10% are homeless.
