My students live in a rural area in Kentucky. Many parents are farmers or work at a factory. Over 70% of them qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our students are blessed to attend a small public school, with a K-12 enrollment of about 300. However, the funding at our school is left to be desired. We rely on the generosity of grants to fulfill many of our needs, particularly when it comes to technology.
