My kids come from a small town in rural Missouri. Half of our class receives free or reduced-price lunches. To say they come from homes with a lot of problems is an understatement. With all of the issues that occur in their homes, they sometimes are not the top priority that they should be. My kids are hard workers and hopefully, with the right tools, they can learn to overcome their situations and break the cycle that they are being raised in.
