We are a Preschool-8th grade school. We have around 200 students. We have 100% free and reduced lunch at our school. Therefore, most of our students are unable to afford I-Pads to enhance their learning. I have 23 students in my kindergarten class. About 50% are on level they should be. I have brought my own personal I-pad to use in my classroom and you would have thought I had brought the best "toy in the world"! Most of my students have never used an I-Pad and they were so excited to get to use mine. Unfortunately, I only had the one I-Pad and it was very difficult for all of them to get a chance to use it. I-pads are new and exciting and it motivates the students to learn. My students would greatly appreciate the technology which makes learning fun and exciting!
