I teach 45 fourth graders at an elementary school in a rural area. We are a green school and are constantly talking about ways to protect the environment and the animals in it. We have an amazing nature trail and school garden. I love to take advantage of the outdoor classroom. My students love to explore nature. I would love to have a portable lab that I can transport to and from the outdoor classroom. I have taught my students that anything living that we explore must be released back into its habitat. Any nonliving specimens could be brought in to explore in depth.
