Our elementary is a k-5 school that serves students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Our students have an excellent work ethic and a thirst for knowledge that inspires me to provide them with more learning opportunities. While we are a title I school, this does not define who we are. It is the spirit of the students, parents and staff that is the core of our community. We are a school that is stronger because of our diversity. Our school also serves students with special needs. It has been gratifying to see how many students with IEPs have gravitated toward our STEM programs. I believe giving students a hands on learning experience will make the difference in whether they see education as a chore, or as an opportunity to grow.
