My class consists of 15 mild/moderate special needs learners with disabilities from Visual Impaired, Traumatic Brain Injury and ADHD. My kids each learn completely different, and because of their wide age range, I often struggle accommodating each learner in each of the high school required subject matters, especially reading and math! I often work over time trying to locate reading material and math supplements that will keep my students engaged and actively learning that is not beyond or below their academic level. It's challenging finding high school level curriculum that can be modified to the 1st-3rd grade levels most of my students function at.
