My students are from a variety of backgrounds but they lack supplies and home support. Many of these students have exceeded their parents' education levels and need additional help at school to succeed. We are a Title I school which puts at least half of our families on free or reduced lunch. The economy makes it harder for parents to be at home and available to their children since they often hold down multiple jobs. My students and their families are dedicated but super challenged. Any tool I can introduce them to that will simplify their lives at some point is important to me.
