My students are Oglala Lakota (Sioux), living on a reservation in South Dakota. They are in the 5th-8th grade, and more than 70 students will benefit from this project and its companion projects. My students are proud to be Lakota. They are fantastic athletes and artists, always outspoken, and easy to excite.
