Our students want to do well and learn how to do all the things their peers can do. They face a number of different challenges, from delays in language development, to roble ms maintaining their attention focus and basic organization! Some have parents who do not yet speak English. Some have witnessed violence, others do not know how to control their impulses and can be rude and disruptive in the classroom. THey all worry that they are not smart enough to do their work. In the smaller setting of the school resource support room, they can open up and show what they don't know how to do, instead of pretending and hiding in the larger classroom.
