Support Mrs. Carpenter's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
My students are unique learners who require a great deal of support, but who are so proud of their accomplishments. For most of the school day, my students are working individually or in a very small group with direct teacher support and feedback.
We have limited materials to allow my students the opportunity to work independently in centers or in small groups with their peers. They need to have a sense of accomplishment from working on tasks independently, and we need interactive materials and center activities for them to work with in order to make progress in math!
The easel and chart paper will be beneficial when teaching small group and working on anchor charts with my students. The math materials will be beneficial in helping my students with basic math skills such as counting, adding and subtracting, and number sense. These math materials will give my students the chance to practice developing math skills independently, and will allow them to work on their own, creating a sense of ownership and excitement for their learning!
